This year’s winner is Chris Duncan, currently in his first year with ComSpark, was acknowledged as a stand out of all staff for the year 2015.
Chris joined ComSpark in January of this year. With many years of commercial electrical experience, Chris is adept at running projects under pressure, where safety comes first, but with a sense of urgency to meet budgets and deadlines.
Chris says “Winning this award is a big honour to me as although I didn’t meet him I am aware that Frank was looked upon as a great mentor and respected as a manager. I am proud to have received so many votes from my colleagues in less than a year at ComSpark.”
The Battista award is a ComSpark tradition and was established in remembrance of our much-loved former Managing Director, Frank Battista, who lead by example in continuously and generously giving of his knowledge, time and resources to all.
The winner of the award is recognised by vote and honoured by their peers and customers; but receive no financial reward. Instead, half the monetary prize is donated by ComSpark to a cancer charity chosen by the company, and the other half is donated to a cancer charity chosen by the award winner.
